University of Chicago HK campus — Lighting Supplier
our supplier, utilizing the SIGHTComfort & OptimalBright technology, partnered with the University of Hong Kong on a lighting collaboration, delivering an energy-efficient solution and a healthy, comfortable, high-quality lighting environment for university classrooms. On September 26, 2018, University of Chicago President Robert Zimmer said at the campus opening ceremony, “We are proud to establish a campus in Hong Kong. The University of Chicago has long been committed to extensive academic collaboration, and we aim to make a positive social impact in Hong Kong and Asia. Scholars, researchers, students, and alumni from around the world can benefit from various forms of knowledge exchange.” The University of Chicago’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region campus will offer Executive MBA programs from the Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as executive education and non-degree programs for local professionals. Additionally, the campus will host academic seminars, conferences, public lectures, and overseas study programs for university undergraduates. SUTH has provided customized lighting fixtures for this project, utilizing OptimalBright color technology and VisualCODE color consistency technology to provide professional lighting while achieving energy-saving effects. The project employs light sources with a CRI of over 90, which has a very good effect on alleviating visual fatigue. The project owner has expressed appreciation for this project and looks forward to more collaborations.
