About This Material

Honey-gold and amber layers form vertical flowing bands; the stone has a softly translucent quality that can glow when backlit. Supplier-declared properties Density: approx. 2.70–2.74 g/cm³. Compressive strength: 80–100 MPa; flexural strength: 15–22 MPa. Water absorption: approx. 0.15%–0.2%; dense carbonate jade marble with moderate acid resistance. Avoid acidic liquids. Mohs hardness: 3–4 (medium); polished gloss is stated as 95 degrees or higher. Strong semi-translucency; a rear light source can produce a warm transmitted-light effect. Characteristics Honey-gold and rosin-yellow vertical bands create a layered, flowing pattern. The semi-translucent material can glow when backlit; continuous layouts are compared to a golden waterfall. Can be cut, ground and polished for large feature walls or translucent stone-light panels. Applications Walls: backlit hotel-lobby features, entrance walls, club focal walls, elevator halls and restaurant feature walls. Tops: reception desks, bar tops and vanities; seal thoroughly. Decor: translucent stone light boxes, murals, decorative panels, door surrounds and translucent ceiling panels. Architectural details: hotel columns, screens and display-case cladding. Care Seal natural capillaries before use. Avoid strong acids and renew protection periodically. Long-term outdoor sun and rain are not recommended.
