About This Material

A milky, icy-white ground carries delicate flowing pale grey and light brown threads with a softly translucent look. Supplier-declared properties Density: approx. 2.70–2.80 g/cm³. Compressive strength: 100–120 MPa; flexural strength: 10–14 MPa. Water absorption: approx. 0.15%–0.25%; dense carbonate stone with moderate acid resistance. Avoid acidic liquids. Mohs hardness: 3.5–4; the source claims the lowest alkali-efflorescence rate among white stones and better abrasion resistance than most white marble. Strong jade-like appearance and partial translucency; the source describes a soft, warm polish suited to large areas. Characteristics Milky icy-white ground with pale grey cloud veining; suggested for cream, light-luxury and minimalist interiors. The source claims low efflorescence and recommends it for stairs and floors where efflorescence can be a concern. Fine, even material can be cut, ground, polished, used in large wall panels, stair treads and shaped work. Tops: dining and coffee tables, islands, reception desks and bathroom vanities; seal against stains. Floors and stairs: living rooms, entrances and villa stair treads, including medium-to-high-traffic areas. Decor: door surrounds, window sills, cabinet cladding and luxury-stone furniture. Care White marble needs sealing against stains. Prevent colored liquids from penetrating, avoid strong acids and renew protection periodically. Outdoor use is not recommended.
