About This Material

A cream-white ground is crossed by layered emerald, deep green and light grass-green bands and cloudy veins, with sparse grey and brown lines. Supplier-declared properties Bulk density: 2.60–2.75 g/cm³. Dry compressive strength: 80–120 MPa. Flexural strength: 8–14 MPa. Water absorption: ≤0.35%. Mohs hardness: 3–4. Mineral type: carbonate metamorphic marble, locally containing semi-translucent jade-like crystals. Characteristics A white ground with layered flowing green veins creates a forest-cloud landscape effect. The polished surface is described as translucent, fine and softly lustrous. Can be cut, shaped, rounded, waterjet-patterned and made with backlighting grooves. Applications Feature walls: villa TV walls, entrance focal walls, sales-center or club-lobby walls and elevator art walls; the source suggests backlighting or accent spotlights. Tops: luxury dining and coffee tables, indoor islands, reception desks and bathroom vanities; fully seal. Floors: villa entrances and living rooms in low-traffic indoor areas. Other: stone murals and indoor decorative objects. Care The source requires six-face sealing. This carbonate stone has poor acid resistance; vinegar and acidic cleaners can etch it and cause loss of gloss and whitening.
